About Me

I'm a software engineer, currently working as a prototyper at Meta on the Wearables team. It has been an amazing experience working for the coveted blue pretzel.

I worked on creative audio systems for Meta's Orion Augmented Reality Glasses in preparation for the Connect 2024 Reveal.

I developed some cool things for that project:
- A spatial stereo audio playback system for the Out of Box Experience
- Integration of various audio features into multiple Augmented Reality games that live on device.

In collaboration with the Core OS team at Meta, I developed a Python tool that automated the translation, loading, and playback of haptic patterns onto a prototype wrist interface.  This unblocked haptic design processes for EMG neural interfaces by 99% - one of my most impactful optimizations yet! There are plans to integrate that solution into Meta Haptics Studio for companywide use.

I'm a former engineer for I.A.T.S.E., my work as an event engineer and rigging large scale productions fueled my passion for collaborating in high-performing teams, and building memorable experiences. I got to work with huge acts like The Eagles, Metallica, Dave Chappelle, Billie Eilish, and Tame Impala to name a few. I later worked in Corporate events, where I was constantly collaborating with new teams, and managing sessions for large enterprise clients like JPMorgan, Docusign, and Salesforce.

I embarked on an entrepreneurial journey in 2020 to build a virtual events startup called Cranial. We aimed to support local businesses during the difficult days of the pandemic by presenting their products to remote teams through innovative virtual events. As the lockdown ended we all started focusing back on our regular jobs, but it was a huge learning experience for me, one that gave me appreciation for the endless hours that founders and startup teams pour into their work.

That experience taught me the importance of taking initiative, accountability, understanding business challenges, and creatively problem-solving. It also rekindled my interest in software development, which has lead me to the path I am walking today.

As a software developer, I seek to apply my engineering skills, creativity, and entrepreneurial experience to build innovative digital solutions that have a positive impact.

When I'm not coding, you can find me playing sports, making music, or spending time outdoors with my dog.
